Personal information

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person in accordance with Article 9(1) Dutch Data Protection Ordinance (UAVG). For example, this includes information such as your name, your address, your email address, your telephone number or your IP address. Non-personal data is information which does not identify you, e.g. anonymous data and information.

Collection and processing of personal data

 

a) Log data / server log files

When accessing this website the following data are collected and stored in a log file:

  • IP-address
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Browser type / browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Time of the server request

b) Data in the online contact form

If you use the online form to contact us, the following data will be collected and processed:

  • Your company affiliation
  • Your department
  • Your name and surname
  • Your email address
  • If necessary, your telephone number
  • And, if necessary, the content of your message/notification

c) Newsletter subscription data

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter provided on the website, we as the provider require from you an email address and information to be able to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter (so-called double opt-in procedure).

Primary interest as legal basis

The legal basis for the storage of log data is Article 6 para. 1 letter f) UAVG. The 7-day storage of this data is exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the proper operation of the server. This interest in the operational security of the server prevails over any interest in an immediate deletion of the above data. As a visitor to a website, you also have the same interest in being able to access and use a website that is as secure as possible.

Consent as legal basis

Without your consent - besides the automatically stored log data (see above) - we do not collect or store any personal data about you. Only you decide whether or not to provide personal data for the purpose of contacting or subscribing to the newsletter.

If you provide such data about yourself, then you hereby give your consent for storage and use in accordance with data protection law. The personal data which you provide will only be used to answer your inquiry or to provide you with the information or offers requested.

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time with future effect. For example, to unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the „unsubscribe“ link in the respective newsletter.

Cookies

Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you, are stored on basis of article 6 exp. 1 lit. f) UAVG. A legitimate interest exists in the storage of cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of the services.

The cookies we use are so-called „session cookies“. They are automatically deleted when you leave the site.
But we also use cookies that remain on your hard drive. Their expiry time is set to a date in the future. During a subsequent visit, the system automatically recognizes that you have already visited the website and which entries and settings you prefer (so-called long-term cookies).

You can configure your browser in such a way that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. However, when cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Webinars with Microsoft Teams

ORBIS uses the Teams Webinars software solution from Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 USA to conduct webinars over the Internet. Microsoft Corporation is responsible for the provision of this service and the associated data processing. You can find Microsoft Corporation's privacy policy here at Microsoft Corporation. In order to conduct the webinar, we transmit your registration or customer data to Microsoft Corporation with your consent as the legal basis. An encrypted connection is established between you and the organizer of the webinar in order to conduct the webinar. 

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights

We use a service from Microsoft - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights to support online marketing and enquiries. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Oepreations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin18, Ireland.

When a visitor fills out a form on the website, this form data is processed by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

Security

ORBIS SE NETHERLANDS takes all the current technical and organizational security measures currently available to protect your personal data from misuse.

Your rights

According to the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the right to obtain information about your stored data. Upon request, ORBIS will provide you with information as to whether and what personal data has been stored about you.
